Yes, after talking/planning to study somewhere for two years, I decided not too. Perhaps a summer program but a semester is too expensive anddd I have to do psychological research and counseling this year :0) I feel fine about it now.

I'm sad that I'm leaving some (most) of my favorite people again.
Well, I've been doing pretty well lately I'd say.

HOWEVER! there is so much going on, I'm feeling a little...I can't even think of a word for it.

My parents are moving to GA...in about two months I think. So I'll be coming "home" to a place I don't know. But it's all good because I probably won't live at home anymore and it's a good opportunity for my mom. So good for them but weird feeling for me. I'm going to have to stay with people to go to Greenville.

I want to be single and just not be interested in anyone. I need to find myself without anyone else's presence influencing me. I want to be a fully independent person, so I'm working on that.

Jon called me yesterday really upset and almost crying. I said I was sorry that he's having a rough time, etc. Then he came and got something from me today and was really upset looking and asked to hang out but I really am busy the next couple of days. Thursday I'm going to be in class all day and then hopefully I'll get some studying done that night. Then Friday, I'm not sure what's going on, I MIGHT go to the beach since I haven't been yet?!?! crazy I know. Saturday I'm hanging out with Daniel all day and such...that'll be fun and interesting. Sunday I need to study more for my two psychology classes that have tests next week and read for Brazilian Films.

I like being busy but it's a little annoying too at times. I need to get a job but I don't want one. I think I'm going to wait a couple weeks and then start looking. Hopefully I can host or serve somewhere and then perhaps keep that job this summer...we'll see.

I feel like nothing is stable in life right now. but that is life.

MAT

I don't even care about that show that much, I just want some mindless entertainment, but oh wells....

big abnormal psychology test on Tuesday, actually our last one before the final exam...so if i don't get an A, I don't see myself getting an A in that class. MAN! I want a strong major GPA but it's going to be HARD!

I've been doing a lot of stuff for the future, going to talk to a professor about industrial psychology and graduate school, talking to study abroad people (which made me SO excited, even if it's a year from now-ish) My goal is to not be afraid b/c I am scared about it. Out of the country (never done), completely without anyone I know (never done), ohhhhh scared and excited. I really want to try and stay a couple weeks or so after school is done over there. They finish in Mid March over there for most of the school, so yeah....I really wanted Jon to come over after he is done with school and then we can go places in Europe, but I doubt it'll happen, although I can't think of anything I'd rather do.

Things in general have been going alright. School is ending :0), still have to study a lot, Jon's great, sisters' are going well, and parents, uhh anyway...summer's almost here and now I'm going to study more so I can REALLY enjoy the summer times!

MAT

Well, I'm at work currently, of course I'm ignoring the stuff I should be doing but transcribing becomes very old very quickly. We only have about 40 something days until we're finished with school and freshman year of college. I'm excited and then again, it makes me anxious. I have all these ideas of things I'd like to get done before I die but I'm not sure if I will actually get any of them done. I think I'm interested in doing industrial psychology, which means I'm going to graduate school but I'd be going to grad. school regardless of what I want to do. Clemson has it as a masters program, but then Chicago has two school just for psychology and that'd be interesting. I wish school wasn't so damn expensive. I could save a lot of money going to Clemson but then I REALLY don't want to stay in the same area that long in my life. whoooo knowssss, but I need to start thinking about it now, grad. school is SUPER competative!!

So I do believe I've changed my mind about 5 times of where i want to study abroad next spring. I think I'm going to England now though. It's been a goal/desire of mine since I was in 4th or 5th grade and I can travel while I'm over there, stay when school ends for a couple of weeks and go to different places in Europe. I hope it all works out.

I just really don't want to end up in a job I hate... i've seen that and i don't know if I could handle it.

On the other hand, if I get my doctorate in industrial psychology I could make more money and get a better job BUT honestly, I don't know if I'm smart enough to get a doctorate.

Oh me. But anyway, back to the thinking like a freshman in college. I'll be 20 soon, two or three weeks soon. WEIRD! It's kind of a boring age, you're not 21 and you're not a teenager anymore and in ten years I'll be 30. Oh the weirdness.

I feel like there's always something or things in the back of my mind. worries. Can I afford that? Are they getting a divorce? I hope so, but god I dont hope so either. Am I going to be successful?

oh well. Summer is coming soon enough. I want to get away. Orlando is going down this summer with Jon. Hopefully somewhere with Scott. I'd love to go to Philly (to visit Judith) and Boston (just to go). Charleston will be a hot place to spend summer but I think it will be nice to spend the first summer in 9 years not in Greenville, and the first summer in 20 years not with my parents. EEEP!

Long entry. i'm sorry, this is what happens when work is boring.

MAT

It's 8:55 and I'm finished with homework!!

This is amazing. I think I'm feeling a little burnt out lately. I'm so excited about spring break, I miss my parents and it's time I tell them I don't plan on living at home this summer. My dad isn't going to enjoy this...but whatcha going to do.

My plans for summer:
-Live in sin with Jon in West Ashley
-Work in Mount Pleasant or West Ashley (need to apply soonish)
-Go to Orlando to visit Jon's brother with Jon (aka Islands of Adventure or something of that sort)
-save up as much money as possible for England next spring :0)
-Make a trip somewhere with Scott, perhaps combine it with visiting Judith in Philly
-IDK what else...visit Greenville several times most likely.

I'm pretty content with things as they are right now, I just worry too much about the future all the time. I need to chill out soooo I'm going to try. Anyway, love all around...later days

MAT

I love how everyone is all about some Myspace and Facebook, I love seeing people from middle school or high school... I don't know it's like a reunion without the hassle of making an effort :0)

Anyway, right now I'm actually at work, I should be transcribing but I'm taking (another) break. My FIRST paycheck is coming next week, which is very exciting since I started working January 17th and it'll be February 28th when I get paid.

One of my roommates and her twin (whom I absolutly love because they're nerdy like me & we make frequent trips to the library together) are transfering back home, or TN next year. Makes me sad. AND THEN! my other roommate is probably transfering back home as well. WTF. next year I'll be starting all over again with people I know here...haha, since I'm a loser and my housemates are my closest friends. It makes me sad but then again, it's understandable. Charleston is not like anyone I know expected it to be like. It's PREPY. weird. But I don't know, I don't want to transfer because of loosing credits/different requirements/etc. and besides, where in SC (due to the fact out of state is way to expensive) would I go?

I have a good amount of homework to get done this weekend. Perhaps Jon will let me use her appartment on Saturday while he works to get some of it done, so I dont just wait until Sunday to do it all and hate myself all day for doing that.

p.s. it looks like I'll be living in Charleston (West Ashley) this summer.

MAT

Just a quick entry before I go back to studying for Spanish.

CofC's spring break starts a week from this Friday. I'm so excited. No, I don't have any cool plans but man, I'm just excited at the prospect of no school for a week. Going home will be nice as well, this has been the longest I've been away from my parents in my whole life, weird.

On a random note, I'm not a big fan of group work, sometimes it's cool but then sometimes you get your group mates calling you because they don't understand their parts and you have to walk them through it. It's frustrating, but just venting.

Things have been so different in my life in the past few months. I like it but then again it's crazy. It makes you realized you can't go back into the past and those years are in the past, gone forever. The future has been on my mind so much this year, it's a little overwhelming.

Well. back to work. I'll post again soonish

MAT

It's been a while.

Yesterday was 3 years and 6 months with Jon Hyde. I'm so happy with him, it's just so easy now, I'm not sure why, perhaps because we know each other so well now and we're comfortable. I love him.

I'm trying to not slack off with school and stuff but lately that's how it's been. I'd much rather go to West Ashley and see Jon, or hang out with the roommates/housemates. Plus having a job added in some for slacking off opportunity.

This week, starting tomorrow might be a little stressful I think. Abnormal Psychology test is Tuesday, Lab research report is due Tuesday, Biology class project is due on Friday, haven't started, and the usually spanish work and such. I got a 97 on my spanish test and I was so happy and then I realized next week, we have another test, sooo soon.

I'm ready for spring break, I'm ready for summer, I'm ready to live with Jon this summer, uhh now I'm going back to studying and all that fun stuff.

MAT
